My hands are itching to sew again. It's been some time since I've indulged my creative side. Time to dust my sewing machine and start making something! This month, I'll be attending a workshop by quilter/teacher, Jenny Bowker. Check out her beautiful quilts!
Eventually, I will like to explore the different designs and artforms in Malaysia to create something which is uniquely Malaysian. Recently, I saw a "kolam" design which is of a stylized peacock. Beautiful! Now to translate that into a quilt. Wow!

Waaaaah, soooo nice lah your patchwork. If can I also want to learn but don't know if I have the patience. Plus in the creativity pool, I am at the shallow end. Boo hoo!
With regards to the intellingences of breastfed babies, I am also biased to say they are smarter. But sometimes that is not to the parent's advantage. I'm sure you know what I mean. Hehehe.
Ai Lian, I didn't think I could sew too until someone showed me how. You obviously have an interest, so should be able to learn lah. I know I'm supposed to show you how. School hols, ok? Promise...
the patchwork are very, very nice.... my mum's good at it too, but I'm totally hopeless.

Thanks so much for the compliments! Yes, working with batik is something I will like to do too. In fact, I have a wallhanging of a lit Christmas tree which were made with batik pieces.
Min, very talented! Even the Laura's bday dress u sewed looked great! Wish I could sew too.
